Read the News Before the News! 2010 Predictions    CURRENT EVENT PREDICTIONS The healthcare bill is meeting stiff resistance during transiting Uranus over the U.S. Descendant that peaks Feb. 8. There is another monthly Uranus cycle peaking on the 24th. This “double Uranus” cycle will continue through March due to a retrograde Venus monthly cycle. These cycles indicate rebellion, separation, and an inability to agree. Problems exist in uniting various constituents to get bills passed in February and March. The job creation bill is one possible winner during these cycles but it too faces an uncertain future. Foreign agreements and treaties is another area prone to disappoint during the March-April period. THE URANUS/DESCENDANT CYCLE will not return for another 84 years! The most unusual cycle of the year is Uranus crossing the Descendant of the U.S. horoscope. This peaked twice in 2009 (Apr. 17 & Sept. 18) and will peak one last time February 8, 2010. The last crossing was in 1925-26 during the Calvin Coolidge presidency. Coolidge's platform called for lower taxes, higher tariffs, economy, limitation of arms, and international cooperation to keep peace. Obama will pledge similar ideas. The last cycle was rich and varied in cultural achievements as the current period will be in innovation, technological improvements, and cultural developments. It was a lawless and roaring 20s though with widespread disregard of the Prohibition Law. The unpopular 18th Amendment created a nightmare for law enforcement trying to catch bootleggers. Organized crime - gangsters - spread across the land. Obama is finding a strong grass roots movement against his grand, social programs. Civil disobedience could easily result if the government tramples on individual freedoms and continues to squander our nation’s wealth. There is also likely to be more personal reliance, a focus on individual freedom, and less of a dependence on government micromanaging civilian affairs. Next Page
