In Oct.
2001 I contacted an Orlando Sentinel newspaper reporter
who had written a story about bin Laden based on
the writer's source. I asked Mike Cabbage if he
knew when bin Laden was born. He replied, "The
truth is no one really knows. In fact, bin Laden
himself may not know for sure. My source told me
bin Laden was 43. That fits in with other reports
that say he was born in 1957 (September through
December I suppose). No one I'm aware of has a specific
date or time. He apparently was born in Riyadh,
Saudi Arabia. Sorry I couldn't be of more help."

On Sunday
March 11, 2007 the Orlando Sentinel ran another
short piece saying that followers of Osama bin Laden
were flooding Islamist Web sites Saturday in celebration
of his 50th birthday. That confirms the 1957 birthyear
and proposes a birthday of March 10. I will post
a summary of his chart here shortly. Keep loggin
