We
are rapidly approaching a critical stage in
U.S. history. Beginning in 2010 an international
crisis in leadership (involving the U.S. and
Europe) will exacerbate record high gas and
oil prices and worldwide food distribution
problems. Currently, however, we are still
reeling from the horrendous planetary aspects
to the Declaration of Independence chart last
year.
2005
contained five unusual cycles to
our national chart. First Pluto joined the
lower meridian (homeland) on Feb. 1 - a cycle
that does not repeat for another 248.4-years.
Oil prices rose sharply at this time. The
second retrograde cycle peaked on May 22.
This was another time of national instability
due to forces (insurgents and antagonistic
nations) and factors (the weather and the
economy) largely beyond our control. Third
and last pass of Pluto over the I.C. took
place Dec. 1. The Iraqi constitution was being
drafted during this time, plus the country
was coping with the triple blows to our homeland
by hurricane Katrina, Rita, and Wilma. Corruption
came to light when a CIA agent was identified
through a leak by a top aid to Vice President
Dick Cheney. FEMA was criticized for inept
handling of the New Orleans and Gulf Coast
disasters coming up 20 billion dollars short
of money needed to help hurricane victims.
This cycle has and continues to reshape American
policy toward disaster preparedness - including
the possibility of a terrorist attack on U.S.
soil utilizing chemical, biological, or nuclear
weapons of mass destruction.
The
other major aspect whose repercussions continue
is Pluto square Neptune in the U.S. chart.
This cycle is also in three phases. The first
phase occurred in 2004; the second retrograde
phase peaked July 14 (a precursor to the ravages
of the sea - Neptune - brought by hurricanes
Katrina and Rita). This cycle turned direct
on Sep. 2 only days after Katrina slammed
ashore. It peaked a third time Oct. 19. Waste
and inefficiency are associated with this
aspect. The disaster relief efforts were clearly
flawed and uncertainty (and crime) reigned
throughout the period. It was discovered during
this time that large farm subsidy rip-offs
had been occurring for years. Farmers were
being paid for crops that were never planted,
for instance.
The
third major aspect that occurs once every
21-years is Uranus in hard aspect to its natal
position in the Declaration chart. The first
peak of this three phase cycle was Apr. 5,
followed by the retrograde on Aug. 28 - the
day before Katrina hit New Orleans and other
Gulf towns and cities. Uranus is the planet
of sudden disaster and rebellion. It peaks
again Jan. 27, 2006. We can
expect from this last 21-year cycle a possible
natural disaster. This cycle's worst side
is likely within ten days of Mar. 7 and Mar.
29, plus near the peak of Jan. 27. Corporate
strikes, war protests here and abroad, increased
insurgency in Iraq and elsewhere are all to
be expected. Safeguarding American individual
freedoms will be a main issue. Bush's Patriot
Act will come under fire. Anti-american nations
will join together in greater number as a
voice (and market) to protest our own.
Although
the aspect to Uranus is unpredictable, catastrophic,
disrupting, and revolutionary, it does hold
hope for many significant breakthroughs. This
will involve progress in Iraq with building
their armed forces and establishing a viable
government. Electric power will be in the
news - from getting it flowing better in Iraq
to the call for more power generating plants
in the U.S. Fuel conservation will turn to
hybrids and alternative fuels more than a
call to burn less fuel.
There
will also be spectacular discoveries in the
sciences. Very rare and unusual insights will
take place. The advancements in scientific
discovery, invention, and technology will
be remarkable. Expect the month of Jan. near
the 27th and Mar. near the 7th to be pivotal
times for these advances.
WHAT
HAPPENED:

Bush's
domestic spying (Patriot Act) come under increased
scrutiny; accusations that the Act may be
illegal are made by the chairman of the Senate
Judiciary Committee - Jan. 16. CIA efforts
at international spying are largest since
the Cold War.

Iran
started its nuclear plant last Aug. under
the retrograde Uranus and now in Jan. the
U.S. and China agree to a Russian plan to
let the Iranians continue to develop uranium
under Russian controls.
Jan.
26: Hamas, a militant Palestinian movement,
wins the majority of seats in their government;
peace prospects with Israel and U.S. threatened.
Bush
scored a second major political opportunity
on Jan. 31 when Alito, a Republican and strict
interpreter of the Constitution, was appointed
to the Supreme Court. This is Bush's second
Supreme Court nomination.
Oil
corruption has been fueling the insurgency
in Iraq (Feb.). Iraq's infrastructure is below
prewar levels. The Uranus aspect is showing
that chaos and not widespread progress still
prevails in Iraq. The country's oil, electricity,
water and sewage systems are in worse condition
than when the war started.
Feb.:
The Patriot Act is extended with a few revisions
providing personal, liberty protections to
U.S. citizens.
Feb.:
NASA (Bush) appointees tried to limit or alter
scientific releases on weather and pollution
in keeping with administration policy and
belief.
Congressional
panel discloses hurricane Katrina shortcomings
by local, state, and national government agencies.
Another
scientific breakthrough in Feb. when diabetes
in monkeys is reversed.
The
Bush administration faces increased threats
in Iraq as tensions flair between Shiite and
Sunni Muslims after a major Shiite mosque
is destroyed by terrorists. Muslims have been
further provoked by several European newspapers
printing insulting cartoon images of Muhammad,
the Arabian founder and prophet of Islam.
March
is a critical time for energy prices. The
Lunar Eclipse of the 14th occurs on the U.S.
Ascendant in conjunction with natal Neptune.
Major flooding and severe thunderstorms and
tornados, pollution, crime, undercover (clandestine)
activities, and attacks on oil facilities
are likely. The American people will be lied
to. The military and police will conduct more
raids than usual. Fear will gripe the nation
due to pollution or disease. Revelations about
endangerment to sea life may also make the
news. Many of the same type of events in Mar.
will repeat near June 14.
Oil
prices rose to over $3 a gallon in parts of
the country beginning in Mar. - the highest
ever. Fear of bird flu intensified. Concerns
about the continued degradation of the coral
reefs in the Caribbean makes the news.
Late
in Feb. a terrorist attack on the major oil
refinery in Saudi Arabia is foiled.
More
progressive changes due to the Uranus aspect
continue into Feb. and Mar. as lawmakers add
meals provision to an ethics bill that bans
gifts from lobbyists. Scientific discoveries
continual as well: another probe enters the
atmosphere around Mars and icy geysers on
a Saturn moon reveal three ingredients for
life.
Uranus
also indicates some set-backs as well as advancements
in the area of personal freedoms. The Patriot
Act is permanently renewed but a few more
privacy provisions are included. The government
has been targeting journalists and their own
CIA, FBI, and Justice Department employees
to stem the tide of sensitive material being
"leaked" to the public.
Federal
agencies removed 25,315 documents - three
times more than previously reported - from
the open shelves of the National Archives,
in a secret effort to hide national-security
information. The President is also accused
of stretching executive powers by issuing
"statements" that accompany the
signing of a bill into law. These statements
claim a presidential prerogative not to enforce
parts of the legislation he deems to encroach
on executive authority. It was also revealed
in May that the NSA has been wiretapping the
conversations of Americans. Data on the calls
has been collected. Most citizens feel un
threatened by these intrusions but civil libertarians
question the need for such record keeping
and the potential for future abuse.
The
natal aspect to Uranus appears to still be
working: the Senate approves curbs on lobbyists
(Mar. 30). Uranus represents "progress,
personal freedom, and independence."
Also, in mid-May, a Bush-appointed committee
was created as a check on government power.
Several
congressmen go on record warning that the
massive federal debt can bring down the U.S.
economy and political standing in the world.
Major
scientific discoveries also continue to be
made. In early April U.S. researchers have
found the missing evolutionary link between
fish and land animals. The new fossils show
that fish began to live on land and in the
water about 375 million years ago.
Flooding
did take place in North Dakota and surrounding
states plus a powerful tropical cyclone in
northwest Australia. Tens of thousands flee
floods in Brazil. Record floods in Serbia
and Montenegro and elsewhere in Europe occur
in Apr. Near the full moon of May, the northeastern
portion of the U.S. experiences the worst
flooding in 70 years!
April
should show signs of a new national direction,
military successes, and government initiatives.
Good news, cooperation and treaty or peace
occurs near Apr. 18 and 23. Prosperity and
favorable events prompt the President to make
a policy statement near May 6.
The
Uranus cycle continues as an important archaeological
find (the greatest in the last 60 years) is
discovered in an Egyptian cave. The document
is one of a few (most were destroyed by the
Church) that records conversations between
Jesus and Judas in the last week of their
lives. The Gospel of Judas reveals that Jesus
asked Judas to turn him in to authorities
- they were actually best of friends. This
document refutes the biblical account of Judas
betraying Jesus.
Near
May 24 negotiations with a foreign nation
regarding nuclear weapons is possible. Important
media personalities will retire, die, or be
replaced.
Iran
agreed to meet and talk with key U.N. nations
regarding its nuclear ambitions. Concessions
have been offered Iran to re-join talks; these
include allowing Iran to produce nuclear fuel
for energy needs.
Bush's
top speech writer decided to retire after
seven years on the job. Anchor woman for ABC
steps down for personal reasons (to raise
her child).
The
good news near the end of April was the May
20 establishment of the Iraqi government.
Further good news occurred June 7 when terrorist
leader Al-Zarqawi was killed in Iraq.
This
correlated with the previous lunar eclipse
in March being triggered near June 14. The
eclipse fell close to Neptune in the U.S.
Sibly chart. Mars (warfare) and Neptune are
in aspect in this chart. So the raid was a
night, clandestine, attack (Neptune) brought
about by the betrayal of an Al-Zarqawi close
operative (Neptune). Expect oil prices and
unstable market conditions to exists near
June 14 as well.
National
sweep nets nearly 2,100 illegal (Neptune)
immigrants in a variety of jobs. Many are
criminals holding sensitive jobs. Two mysteries
(Neptune) make the news on Jun. 25: the Hubble
space telescope camera went offline - reason
unknown. Pluto was believed to have only one
moon until two additional moons were discovered
this month.
Space
shuttle ready for first launch since deathly
tragedy of Columbia. Concerns (fears = Neptune)
persist about foam endangering shuttle shields
upon liftoff.
Jul.

females, and the popular mood of the country.
This weekly cycle will begin early since no
other cycles (that I utilize) exist in July.
The last cycle was the lunar eclipse trigger
of Jun14.
On
Jun. 26 it was made public that Warren Buffet
will donate billions of dollars to the Gates
Foundation (Bill and Milinda Gates), which
aids the poor and helps to eradicate worldwide
diseases.

San Francisco, scientists say. Warming will
also affect farming in the Midwest but exactly
how remains unclear.
A record
heat wave in California kills over 150 people,
countless livestock, and causes widespread
power outages. The wave sweeps over the U.S.
causing record high temperatures and many
deaths in major cities such as Chicago and
New York.
Senate
approves interstate-abortion ban unless parents
are notified. Needs to pass the House before
ratification. Sex-offender database on Web
clears Congress.
Recent
research confirms that environmental damage
is putting the world's oceans in peril. Mankind
is returning the seas to a primordial time
when toxic algae and jellyfish ruled. Crucial
habitats are falling victim to the changing
chemistry of the water. Toxic algae are attacking
the brains of marine mammals. Seals, dolphins
and other marine creatures have been washing
up along the coastlines in unprecedented numbers
during the past few years. Red tides grow
more virulent and sicken people on land. Torrents
of plastic junk foul the remotest parts of
the ocean. The seas are turning acidic, eroding
the building blocks of ocean life.
August
will be a turbulent month with much uncertainty,
mistakes, and anger by the people. Military
cover-ups, covert actions, and frustrations
for the military. Action, if taken, may not
turn out as planned; this includes military
as well as peace plans. Corporate losses near
the 27th. Fear of bird flu increases. Oil
prices may rise within 10 days of Aug. 27.
Insurance, chemical, and oil industries are
highlighted. The events of late Aug. will
peak with the Solar Eclipse of Sep. 22.

would create a searchable database of government
contracts, grants, insurance, loans, and financial
assistance. Does the senator have something
to hide? Although
not related to the military, this event does
correspond to the weekly Neptune cycle in
the U.S.A. chart for Sept.
A major
series of hurricanes is likely near Aug. 25
when the Moon is in occultation with Mars
(the Moon eclipses Mars and covers it from
view). Mars is near a square (90-degree) aspect
with Neptune at this time as well - a sure
sign of hot, stormy weather.
Hurricane
Ernesto kills two in Cuba but crosses Florida
Aug. 30 only as a tropical storm. North Carolina
is hit harder as the storm strengthened oversea
and caused widespread flooding. Elsewhere,
hurricane John (Category 4) scours Mexico
and causes thousands to evacuate Baja, CA.
A monster typhoon hits Wake Island with winds
between 155 and 190 mph.

This is not the fear of bird flu predicted
but another similar pandemic.
The
war on terrorism is central news in Sept.
Major government initiatives and scientific
discoveries made near the 9th. The President
pushes to be in the public eye at this time.
The Bush administration urges allies to help
in troubled regions of the world.
Bush
makes speeches and vows to continue war on
terrorism during the fifth anniversary of
9/11. More war dead than every mount monthly

detainee bill that would weaken the government's
ability to interrogate terrorists in secret
foreign CIA prisons, hence, restricting torture.
NATO
to take over command of military operations
in Afghanistan, effectively putting U.S. troops
under foreign command - Sept. 29. The Senate
on Sept. 28 approved President Bush's plan
to question and try suspected foreign terrorists
before military judges without oversight by
federal courts. The privilege of habeas corpus
to apply to U.S. citizens only. {Habeas
corpus, incidently, can be suspended by the
President during national emergencies. Lincoln
did just this during the Civil War. The U.S.
Constitution says, "The privilege of
the writ of habeas corpus shall not be suspended,
unless when in cases of rebellion or invasion
the public safety may require it."}.
In
the latter half of Sept. government initiatives
are once again news. Critism of the President
occures near the 28th. Conservative financial
news stabalizes the markets but also frightening
news concerning a leader or foreign country
causes stock market jitters near the 17th,
28th, and 30th of the month.
Congress
focusses on closing border with Mexico to
prevent illegal entry. Thai military conducts
a cou' Sept. 20 when president is away from

downward as a result but FED does not raise
interest rates as oil prices continue to fall.
A U.S.
spy agency report released Sept. 24 represented
the consensus of the 16 different spy services
inside the Federal government. The classified
National Intelligence Estimate said that the
war in Iraq is fueling a wider insurgency.
Iraq has helped spawn a new generation of
Islamic radicalism and that the overall terrorist
threat has grown since the 9/11/2001 attacks.
The report also made clear that leaving Iraq
before the Iraqi government can gain control
of the country would result in further hostilities;
and defeating the militants in Iraq would
weaken worldwide terrorism.

First
week of Oct.: Mark Foley, a Republican House
member, resigned after detailed sexual email
messages were made by him to young pages.
A scandal erupts over failure of House leaders
to do more to protect the pages. Some believe
that Mr. Foley is gay and since he contributed
$100,000 to the National Republican Congressional
Committee, his previous misbehavior was dismissed
with a simple "don't do it again"
statement. A Justice Department investigation
may follow.
Business
or commerce concerns cause cut-backs and rock
the stock market late in Sept. and near Oct.
14. International communication disappointments
likely at this time also.
Oct.
3, Dow finally passes previous record high
set Jan. 14, 2000.
The stock market was predicted to head higher
this year (see below).
North
Korea may have exploded a small nuclear bomb
on Oct. 9. The test provoked widespread criticism
of the rogue nation. United Nations sanctions
followed on Oct. 14 with an unprecedented
unanimous vote by the fifteen nation Security
Council.
A female
will make major news in Oct. near the 15th
or 19th. Female issues will be debated and
in the news. Emphasis on home prices, Americans,
the environment, food and water, and the coming
big shopping season will be discussed. Animal
and plant issues will also be addressed. Generally,
this will be a time of peace and more focus
on domestic issues rather than international
ones. The welfare of children is another significant
consequence of the double Moon cycles that
peak in Oct. on the 21st and 24th. A grand
Thanksgiving. But a turbulent, disruptive,
yet exciting Dec. 18th period (within 10 days
of this date).
Research

killed in Iraq.
Although a peaceful month due to an aspect
to the U.S. Moon, the Moon indicates the people
and, thus, a large loss of American lives
is in keeping with this meaning.Nl
The
congressional elections on Nov. 7 will be
unusual due to a rare conjunction between
Mercury and Venus. These two planets are in
conjunction on Nov. 7; a day later the Sun
and Mercury are in conjunction while Mercury
forms a 90-degree (square) with Neptune. On
the 9th, the Sun will square Neptune. The
news media and polls will probably get the
election wrong. Neptune implies widespread
voter apathy and disapproval of the current
administration and Republican Party in general.
Crime, scandal, and poor leadership prevail.
Oil and gas prices will reach a low. A shake-up
in Congress is likely.
The
Democrats take control of the House by a wide
margin - 30 seats! They also have a two seat
edge in the Senate. The election was a major
upset for President Bush and the Republican
Party who had control of all three wings of
government since 2002.
Democrat
Nancy Pelosi will be the first female speaker
of the House. This
is still an indication that the Moon cycle
of Nov. 11 is still in effect.
Defense
Secretary Donald Rumsfeld resigned after the
election results. He will be replaced by former
CIA Director Robert Gates. This major shift
in the Bush administration signals changes
ahead for the war strategy in Iraq.
Dec.
Health developments, the environment, food
and housing, and issues pertaining to the
American public will be in the news within
ten days of Dec 1. The government will set
new goals and strategies for the economy,
global politics, and the war in Iraq near
the solar eclipse trigger of Dec. 22. Technical
innovations and major developments are likely
within ten days of the 18th. A surge in insurrgency
violence and accidents in the U.S. are likely
to reach a peak also near the 18th and 23rd.
NATO
is divided on sending more troops to fight
in Afghanistan.
A
classified memorandum by President Bush's
national-security adviser expressed serious
doubts about whether Prime Minister Nouri
al-Maliki has the capacity to control the
sectarian violence in Iraq. The memo recommends
that the U.S. take additional steps to strengthen
the Iraqi leader's position. This may include
sending more soldiers to Iraq, something Bush
was previously reluctant to do. The new strategy
in Iraq appears to put extra burdens of responsibility
on Nouri al-Maliki.
A new,
non-invasive method to detect breast cancer
is being tested. The technology to substantially
reduce CO2 emissions from energy production,
particularly coal-based electricity generation,
should be available in a few years.
A
Congressional Iraq Study Group recommends
79 major policy changes on Dec. 6. The Senate
also voted overwhemingly to confirm Robert
Gates as the new defense secretary.
Recent
photographs of Mars by NASA reveal a gully
that was once dry now looks flooded. The new
discovery heighten intrigue about the potential
for microbial life on Mars (Dec. 6).
The
Bush administration is requiring screening
of all facts and interpretations by the U.S.
Geological Survey. Scientists there study
everything from caribou mating to global warming.
The government says that the new rules are
to ensure the quality of their work and are
not meant to stifle or reinterpret scientific
findings (Dec. 14).
President
Bush acknowledges that we are not winning
the insurrengency war in Iraq. Additional
troops or a major change in strategy are deemed
necessary to stabalize the Iraqi government
and rally our forces (Dec. 20).
A federal
task force takes on ID fraud in Puerto Rico
that has been a conduit for illegal immigrants
Dec. 29).
Saddam
Hussein is hanged by the Iraqi government
(Dec. 30).
December
is the deadlieast month for U.S. troops in
Iraq. 111 soldiers died.
H
WEATHER
The
Winter of 2005 will produce periods of fair
weather over the nation punctuated by sudden
cold, dry freezes and storms. Expect extreme
conditions from warming trends (droughts in
places) to winter storms. Strong snowstorms
and/or flooding due to rain and warmer conditions
near the super moons of Jan. 30 and Feb. 27.
Spring
will be crazy with extreme weather continuing.
Freezing rain early in the season and rain
later. Some every strong windy storm systems.
Other times will be temperate. Flooding conditions
in in susceptible locations will occur near
the super moons of: Mar. 29.
Summer
is expected to consist of extreme heat waves
over much of the country. Strong storms with
considerable rain are also likely. Flooding
near the super moons of Aug. 10 and Sep. 8.
Fall
continues the pattern of plenty of rain, flooding
near the super moon of Oct. 6.
STOCK
FORECAST
The
stock market should head higher this year.
A correction is expected near December but
Mercury and the Sun will be in conjunction
Jan. 26, 2006 and again Jan. 7, 2007. This
conjunction, when in the Sign of Capricorn,
signals a sharp rise in stock prices 25 days
before the conjunction and, then, slows down
afterward. A correction to the market could
come before this rise or after. Another low
period is near Aug. 2007 so bets are on that
the correction will be next year. A major
market bottom is expected late in 2007 or
2008 depending on when sunspots first rise
above 50 per month on average.
